Get CSV data

To retrieve CSV data simply add csv to your API URL in your API call like this:

https://www.kimonolabs.com/api/csv/{API_ID}?apikey={YOUR_API_KEY}

You can also copy and download your CSV outputs from the API detail page or the data preview view on the toolbar.

The HTTP header in the CSV response returns with a text/plain content type and is organized collection by collection with the property names in the header row, like this:

"collection1"
"property1","property1Link","property2","property3"
"Basic Materials","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWBMAT:IND","+0.03","-1.60"
"Communications","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWCOMM:IND","+0.13","+8.54"
"Consumer, Cyclical","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWCCYS:IND","+0.02","+17.27"
"Consumer, Non-cyclical","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWCNCY:IND","-0.03","+14.79"
"Energy","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWENRS:IND","0.00","-0.60"
"Financial","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWFINL:IND","+0.08","+8.40"
"Industrial","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWINDU:IND","-0.06","+17.81"
"Technology","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWTECH:IND","+0.07","+16.95"
"Utilities","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWUTIL:IND","-0.01","+5.91"

Notice that for properties that contain links, both the text content and the url from the href attribute are included in the CSV output.

If you want the CSV data without the headers, you can append the kimnoheaders parameter to your API call, like so:

https://www.kimonolabs.com/api/csv/{API_ID}?apikey={YOUR_API_KEY}&kimnoheaders=1

"property1","property1Link","property2","property3"
"Basic Materials","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWBMAT:IND","+0.03","-1.60"
"Communications","http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/BWCOMM:IND","+0.13","+8.54"
